Scene 3 of Death in a White Cloak (My Disney Version of Death)

(Two Years after scene one)

“Wait, I’m not ready to go,” a man cried as he lay on the ground with a silver pole stabbed through him. An ambulance came around the corner racing against traffic to get to him as many people tried to slow down his bleeding. “I’m afraid your wrong, it is your time,” the boy in the white cloak concluded before he grabbed hold of the man and the let go of him still holding on to the man’s soul. “Good luck in the afterlife Greg Parker,” the boy smiled before releasing the soul turning it to shiny powder that sparkled around the air. Normal people can’t see the powder, but Death can and he has to say it is a sight to behold. As the boy turned around he saw a girl with her hand over her mouth completely shocked. She must be staring at the man’s body, but wait she was looking at something else. She was staring directly at the cloaked boy. The boy smirked thinking it was his imagination and then lifted an arm in the air to summon his scythe, but unexpectedly the girl’s eyes darted towards his hand.  Death almost fell back in shock, she’s not harmed in anyway, but she can see him, this was beyond his comprehension. He always believed that his physical being was just something that other’s minds conjured up before death, but this woman was healthy, scared but healthy. “Can you see me,” he asked. The girl stayed still staring at him causing him to sigh at his own stupidity, but then she nodded. Death stepped forward, but then she ran away from him. “Wait, don’t go,” he shouted at her, but she was gone far away from him. *Begins to sing. (I thought that I was all alone, that I was a simple drone) *He begins to walk away from the car crash site* (But now I see that she sees me) * releases his scythe and flies on it* (But can I be a person… and have a …Life) *Life was a sung as a quiet whisper that lingered*(Should I stand and find her now, yet still not knowing how) * Lands on a building that has a view of her apartment, and crouches down to stay out of sight for the first time in his existence* (How can I be seen like light, and have no existing right, to be with someone who fears me though, and if I go to her she’ll surely say no) *Gets up and walks away sighing*
Disney version of Death finds out someone can see him. Is their hope he can actually experience a pleasure he was never aloud to have. Could he experience something similar to his natural opposite Life.
